Very high peak makes this canvas spike tent is very easy to walk in without hitting your head on the canvas as is normal in most canvas spike tents.

CANVAS SPIKE TENT CHARACTERISTICS

Canvas spike tents made in USA with quality canvas.

Ceiling peak is 10' high for extra headroom.

1 1/2" metal ring at peak. Peak is reinforced.

9'6" x 9'6" weight is 23 lbs without floor, with floor 29 lbs.

4", 5" or 6" pipe opening Stove jack location -- determined by customer. Stove jack is normally located opposite corner from the door.

Ties for stove jack flap.

Due to the tent design,canvas spike tents are not recommended for use with snow loads. All the weight on the roof is at the peak and only supported by the center pole.

Zippered door.

Extra stitching and canvas at reinforced corners.

Grommets are installed with a 10 ton kick press to ensure tightnes.

Grommets reinforced for increased durability.

If ordering stove jack it will be placed in the right front corner unless otherwise specified.

Canvas spike tent floor is a dark brown vinyl, strong and durable.

Zippered door to eave or you can also request a zippered door that goes into the roof so you won't have to bend over while entering the tent. Zipper has a 4" flap on roof. The zipper slide tab is located at the bottom of zipper.

5' spike tent finished wall height is 4'8" and 4' spike tent finished wall height is 3'8".

Side poles and center pole are an option (13 lbs). See below for pricing.

Center pole spike at end which allows it to go through a grommet in center of roof.
9 side poles: two at doorway, one at each corner, one at center of remaining three walls. Side poles are on outside of tent with necessary guy ropes.
Set up instructions: Stake 4 corners, set up 4 corner side poles with guy ropes, insert the center pole, finish installing remaining side poles and stakes.
Eye bolt instructions:
1. Place eye bolt thru grommet and screw on nut.
2. Insert eye bolt threaded piece in the top of side pole.
3. The bottom of the side pole goes over the spike in the ground.
4. Guy rope goes thru eye bolt then secure the guy rope to stake.

Recommendation: If you are buying a spike tent I strongly recommend the 5' walls which provides more headroom.
