Canvas wall tents, canvas tents and internal frames below normal retail. Top quality wall tents are mandatory while packing, hunting, fishing or just camping. Each tents have been thoroughly tested during many years of use. I am fortunate to live in canvas wall tents or spike canvas tents 6 weeks each year while packing, hunting bear, deer and elk in the Seven Devils, Frank Church and Bitterroot Wilderness areas in Idaho Call or email me if you are new at packing and have any questions on pack gear, canvas tent, or what is best for you. The Hunter canvas tents are "Army Duck - Double Fill", sunforger treated. Blend tent: Recommended for individuals who prefer lightweight canvas wall tents or pack tent. Canvas roof and relite walls (a synthetic material). Saves approximately 40% in weight from a standard 10.1 oz canvas tent. A blends lighter weight makes larger tents much easier to transport, set up and take down. Click blend for more details and pricing. Relite Tent: Relite tents are made from an all synthetic lightweight relite material. The relite tents are designed for people where the weight of the tent is the most important factor. Relite tents have the same durability and toughness as canvas. However, relite tents do not breathe like canvas and the possibility of condensation in a relite tent is a possibility. Two windows slighlty opened in the warm months or a stove heated tent during the cold months will prevent condensation in a relite tent. All WILDERNESS TENT SIZES ARE SHIPPED

DETERMINING WHAT TENT SIZE TO BUY: The amount of square footage in a tent increases tremendously when going up one size in a tent. Insure you buy the tent size that fully meets your requirements. Also compare the price difference between the 2 tent sizes you are considering vs the increase in square footage gained by purchasing the larger tent size. Also remember to account for a stove in a tent when considering the size of tent you require. A stove in a tent will require 7-8 feet of wall space , 3 ' from the end wall, 2' stove length, and 2-3 feet stand off from the front of the stove. If you have difficulty deciding between two tent sizes, go with the larger tent, as you will probably need the larger size. Especially if more people, children are added to your hunting/camping trip. a. A 10x12 (120 square feet) is 50% larger than a 8x10 (80 square feet) b. RECOMMENDATION: Before using your
new tent, I recommend you wet it down on your frame.
When wetting your tent for shrinkage and also when it snows/rains,
insure that you have wall stakes and guy ropes/side ropes on it to
insure it only shrinks the normal 1-3% shrinkage and that it shrinks
evenly. If guy ropes and stakes are not used, canvas tents may shrink
more than 3% and unevenly and won't fit your internal frame properly.
